How to use
- Set the Speed and Pitch before dropping an audio file (or a video to take the sound from).
- For faster lectures use 1.25–1.5×; to lower a song for singing practice, set the pitch to -1 to -3.
- Files are processed as soon as they are added. If you change settings, tap Convert again.
Good to know
With Keep pitch when changing speed on, voices do not turn chipmunk-like when sped up. Turn it off for tape-style changes where speed and pitch move together.
Pitch shifts in semitones up to ±12 (one octave), just like karaoke key control — handy for singing or playing along. Processing uses the open-source SoundTouch engine.
FAQ
Can I change video speed?
For now only the sound is changed and saved as an audio file. If you add a video, its sound is extracted and sped up.
Are my files uploaded?
No. All processing happens inside this browser and recordings are never sent anywhere — safe even for sensitive meeting recordings.
