Good to know
You cannot point your phone’s camera at a QR code that is already on that same phone. This tool reads QR codes straight from image files and screenshots.
Wi-Fi QR codes are split into network name, password and security type, and you can copy just the password.
Stay safe: “quishing” scams use QR codes on parking meters, flyers or messages to lead to fake payment or login pages. Always check the domain before opening a link.
FAQ
The camera does not show up.
Your browser must be allowed to use the camera. If you denied it earlier, re-enable camera access from the lock icon next to the address bar.
Are my images sent anywhere?
No. Images and camera frames are analysed on this device only and never sent anywhere.
Can I create QR codes too?
Yes — use the QR code generator for links, Wi-Fi and contacts.
