How to use
- Drag a ZIP into the box above or tap Choose files. Its contents are listed right away.
- Tap Save next to any file to download just that file.
- In desktop Chrome or Edge, Extract all to a folder unpacks everything with the folder structure intact.
Good to know
RAR compresses well and is common for sharing, but Windows and phones often cannot open it out of the box. This tool extracts both RAR4 and RAR5. (Creating RAR files is not offered for licensing reasons.)
The file list is read first and files are only decompressed when you save them, so pulling a few files out of a large ZIP is fast and light on memory.
Besides ZIP, RAR (RAR4 and RAR5), 7Z, TAR and GZ files can be extracted too. Password-protected archives are not extracted.
FAQ
Can I create RAR files?
No. Creating RAR files is not permitted under the format’s license, so only extraction is supported. To bundle files, use Create ZIP, which opens everywhere.
Can I unzip on my phone?
Yes. Open the ZIP in your iPhone or Android browser and save the files you need one by one.
A file name looks garbled.
Encodings are detected automatically, but unusual ones may still look odd. The file content is fine — just rename it after saving.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Extracting and creating archives happens entirely inside this browser; your files never leave your device.
