How to use
- Drag files into the box above or tap Choose files. To add a whole folder, tap Choose a folder.
- Set the ZIP name and Compression. Photos and videos are already compressed, so Store only is fine for them.
- Tap Create ZIP and save.
Good to know
Files that are already compressed — JPG photos, MP4 videos, PDFs — barely shrink in a ZIP. This tool stores those quickly without recompressing and only compresses files that benefit, such as documents and text.
File names are saved in UTF-8, so non-English names unzip correctly on Windows, Mac and phones.
FAQ
Does zipping make files smaller?
Documents, text and spreadsheets shrink a lot, but photos and videos hardly change. To make photos smaller, use the image compressor.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Extracting and creating archives happens entirely inside this browser; your files never leave your device.
