How to use
- Drag your PNG files into the box above or tap Choose files. You can add many at once.
- ICO is saved without quality loss, so there is nothing to set.
- When it finishes, tap Save on each file or Save all (ZIP) to download everything at once.
Good to know
PNG is a lossless format, so no quality is lost when saving. It supports transparency, which makes it popular for logos, icons, screenshots and design work, but photos saved as PNG are large.
ICO is the format for Windows icons and website favicons (favicon.ico). One ICO file can hold the same image in several sizes.
This tool packs 16, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 px versions into one ICO file, so your icon looks sharp in browser tabs and on the Windows desktop alike. A square PNG works best.
Everything happens inside this browser. Your files are never sent over the internet, so personal photos and work images stay private, and the converted files no longer carry metadata such as GPS location.
FAQ
What if my image is not square?
It is centred with its aspect ratio kept, and the remaining space is left transparent.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your files never leave your computer or phone.
Can I convert many files at once?
Yes. Add as many files as you like; they are converted one after another and you can download them all with Save all (ZIP).
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in iPhone and Android browsers. Very large images may be scaled down automatically to fit your device’s memory.
