How to use
- Drop a video into the box above.
- Pick the Aspect ratio: 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok; 4:5 or 1:1 for the Instagram feed.
- Fill covers the frame and crops the overflow; Show all fits the whole video and fills the rest with black. Save when done.
Good to know
Filling a 16:9 video into 9:16 keeps the centre of the frame — great when the subject is centred. If the whole frame matters, choose "Show all".
Size (short side) is the pixel count of the shorter side. At 1080, a 9:16 video becomes 1080×1920.
FAQ
Can I keep the ratio and just make it smaller?
Yes. Choose Keep original ratio and a size of 720 or 480 to lower the resolution only.
Does it support AVI or WMV?
MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV are supported for now. Results are saved as widely playable MP4 (H.264) by default, or as WebM in browsers that cannot create MP4.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Videos are processed inside this browser and never sent anywhere. Because your own device does the work, long videos take a while and files over 2 GB may fail on phones.
