Good to know
By default the original data is cut without re-encoding, so even multi-GB videos finish in seconds with no quality loss. Because video is stored in keyframe units, the start may snap slightly earlier to the previous keyframe.
If you need frame-accurate cuts, turn on Frame-accurate cut. It re-encodes, so it takes longer and saves as MP4.
FAQ
Does it reduce quality?
Not by default — the original data is reused, so there is zero quality loss. Only the frame-accurate option re-encodes.
Does it support AVI or WMV?
MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV are supported for now. Results are saved as widely playable MP4 (H.264) by default, or as WebM in browsers that cannot create MP4.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Videos are processed inside this browser and never sent anywhere. Because your own device does the work, long videos take a while and files over 2 GB may fail on phones.
