When a web timer is handy
Working on a computer with your phone out of reach, showing time left on a big screen in class or a presentation, running several timers and alarms at once — a browser timer does the job. Stopwatch, Timer & Alarm gives you a stopwatch, countdown and alarm clock on one page.
No sound? Checklist
- Did you press Start yourself? Browsers only play sound after you've clicked on the page at least once.
- Is the tab muted? Check the speaker icon on the tab or the site settings.
- Device volume and silent mode: phones on silent won't play web sounds.
- Sleep and screen-off: if a laptop sleeps or a phone screen turns off, sounds may be late or missing.
- Is the page still open? Web alarms only ring while the page is open.
Getting alerts on another tab
- When a timer ends, the tab title flashes, so you'll notice from another tab.
- On phones, keep the screen on with Keep Screen Awake in another window or temporarily lengthen auto-lock.
- For alarms you can't miss, like waking up, also use your phone's clock app. Treat web alarms as a backup.

Press Lap to record splits — running intervals, time per exam question, time per meeting agenda item. Timing is based on real elapsed time, so it stays accurate even if you switch tabs.

Do alarms repeat every day?
Alarms that are on ring daily at that time while the page is open. When one rings, stop it or snooze for 5 minutes.
Can I run several timers?
You can add multiple alarms. For several timers, open the page in more than one tab.
Does it work offline?
