How to use
- Drag your RAW files into the box above or tap Choose files. You can add many at once.
- Adjust Quality if you like. The default (90) already looks virtually identical to the original.
- When it finishes, tap Save on each file or Save all (ZIP) to download everything at once.
Good to know
RAW files hold almost unprocessed data from the camera sensor (Canon CR2/CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Adobe DNG and more). They offer maximum editing latitude but are large and need special software to open.
JPG (JPEG) is the most widely used photo format. It opens on virtually every device, app and website with a reasonable file size, but it uses lossy compression and does not support transparency.
RAW files (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, ORF, RW2, RAF and more) contain a high-quality JPEG preview made by the camera. This tool extracts that preview and saves it as JPG — perfect for quickly checking or sharing your shots.
Everything happens inside this browser. Your files are never sent over the internet, so personal photos and work images stay private, and the converted files no longer carry metadata such as GPS location.
FAQ
How is this different from a RAW developer?
Extracting the camera’s preview is very fast, but depending on the camera the preview may be smaller than full resolution. If you need to adjust exposure, colour or white balance, use dedicated software such as Lightroom.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your files never leave your computer or phone.
Can I convert many files at once?
Yes. Add as many files as you like; they are converted one after another and you can download them all with Save all (ZIP).
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in iPhone and Android browsers. Very large images may be scaled down automatically to fit your device’s memory.
