How to use
- Drop a video into the box above, then pick a .srt or .vtt file with Choose subtitle file.
- Set the Text size, Position and Semi-transparent box.
- Tap Burn in subtitles and save the result.
Good to know
Subtitles are drawn directly onto the picture (hardsubs), so they appear even on messengers and social networks that do not support subtitle files. The trade-off is that they cannot be turned off later.
Your device’s system fonts are used, so Korean and Japanese display well. The whole video is re-encoded, which can take about as long as the video.
FAQ
How do I make a subtitle file?
Write blocks like "1 / 00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:03,000 / text" in a plain text editor and save as .srt. SRT files exported from YouTube Studio or subtitle editors work as-is.
Does it support AVI or WMV?
MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV are supported for now. Results are saved as widely playable MP4 (H.264) by default, or as WebM in browsers that cannot create MP4.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Videos are processed inside this browser and never sent anywhere. Because your own device does the work, long videos take a while and files over 2 GB may fail on phones.
